These photographs are from Gurdwara's eye camp held at Meghowal in District Hushiarpur in Panjab on Sunday 2 November.

Throughout the day 544 patients were seen, majority of whom required eye drop treatment or spectacles. However, 66 were identified for eye operations. They were taken the following day to Guru Nanak Mission Hospital in Jallandhar (who provide us with medical support during the camp) where they were operated upon and the necessary lenses fitted.

In addition, our camps now include medical check up, awareness about preventative measures and self checking to prevent breast cancer and awareness about drug and alcohol adiction.

Breast cancer exercies identified 3 patients who had cancer. As this was diagnosed at an early stage, it can be cured through medication and appropriate diet.
