Sikh Discussion Group in Hounslow
The Discussion Group is a group of people who want to learn more about Sikhism.
The purpose of the Group is not to change the world but to change the lives of those who attend through discussion and debate.
We hope that by learning more about Sikhism, our members will go on to lead better and more fulfilled lives.
We welcome all. Age, religion, gender, caste and any other "isms" are not barriers to attending our meetings.
Our speakers are volunteers from within the group who research their areas of interest and then present on it.
You can also be a speaker too. If you have an area of interest and would like to discuss it in a friendly setting then contact us.
If you have an open mind and know how to respect a view that is different from your own then you will fit right in. To remove ambiguity, here are the rules in any case:
- Respect each other's opinions.
- No Preaching.
- There is no right or wrong.
- Share to learn.
- Participate.

Meditation – A Natural State of Being |
| Description: |
An interactive workshop to explore how we can find a meditative state. Nam Simran to remember our true nature, our origin, death and purpose is a cornerstone of Sikhism. This remembrance happens in moments of total relaxation, when all worries have been forgotten, and calm and clarity touch our busy minds, moments of grace. What can we do to find this state? Sat Siri Singh, Kundalini Yoga teacher and musician with a fond love of raag music and the rabaab, will share his experience of ten years of yoga and meditation sadhana and offer inspiration on what we can do to experience the Love of Waheguru. You can view his website on www.kundalini-khalsa.com. |
